Transjakarta Involves BUMDs to Expand Its Services

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) collaborates with PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro), Perumda Sarana Jaya and Perumda Pasar Jaya to increase its public transport services.

Transjakarta will develop and open new routes

It was signed with the signing of Cooperation Text by Transjakarta Director Welfizon Yuza, Jakarta Propertindo Director Iwan Takwin, Perumda Sarana Jaya Director Andira Reoputra and Perumda Pasar Jaya Director Agus Himawan Widiyanto, Wednesday (7/10, at Bundaran HI Astra Transjakarta Shelter.

Transjakarta Director, Welfizon Yuza, said this partnership between BUMDs is an effort to develop public transportation which is absolutely necessary for Jakarta to become a world-class city.

He added public transportation in Jakarta will experience significant improvements in quality and quantity in the near future. This achievement is realized through synergistic collaborative between fellow BUMDs and of course supported by the Jakarta Provincial Government.

"Transjakarta will develop and open new routes to support transportation services at property points, as well as areas under Jakarta Propertindo, Sarana Jaya and Pasar Jaya," he said.

He hopes that this synergy with Jakarta Propertindo, Sarana Jaya and Pasar Jaya will increase the comfort of citizens in enjoying public transportation services.

"With comfortable transportation nodes, it is hoped that people will shift to using public transportation instead of private vehicles," he stated.
